Alembika designs are known for their relaxed silhouettes and architectural drape, creating effortlessly chic, easy-to-wear looks.
Alembika offers two size scales. Their numeric 1–8 sizing generally runs true to size with a relaxed fit. Styles offered in XS–XL are intentionally oversized by design. When selecting your size, consider how you prefer the piece to drape on your body. Keep in mind that Alembika’s XS–XL sizing is more generous than many contemporary brands and is designed to comfortably fit approximately sizes 4–20.

The Burnout Velvet Cocoon Dress in Regal brings rich texture and artistry to an effortless silhouette. Crafted from wavy patchworked panels of mixed burnout velvets, the fabrics vary in pattern and color, combining rich tones for a beautifully dimensional look. The soft cocoon silhouette drapes through the body before gently tapering at the hem, creating an artful midi length shape. It's finished with a round neckline and long set in sleeves, allowing the sumptuous mix of velvets to take center stage. An underslip is included for comfortable coverage beneath the sheer burnout details.

Orders will be shipped USPS or UPS. If you would like to make specific arrangements for your preferred carrier or need to have an estimate of delivery time, kindly email us with your request.

Please note that customers are responsible for any customs fees or duties applied in their country; these are not included in shipping cost. Items purchased will be accurately listed and valued on customs forms and labeled as merchandise.

Returns Coverage for Free & Easy Exchanges or Returns with Redo's Checkout+
We offer return protection for all qualifying orders via Redo, which you can opt-in to purchase at checkout. If you purchase Redo Checkout+ coverage with your order, the cost of your return shipping label will be covered! You can return any qualifying item(s) in your order for exchange, store credit, or refund for FREE. Redo covers all eligible items in the cart, you do not need to purchase Redo for each item.
If you choose not to buy Redo Checkout+ you can still return, but you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label.
Free returns via Redo must follow all guidelines listed within the return policy below.
Statement Boutique accepts returns on online purchases of regularly priced items, within 14 days of order delivery. Items must be in brand new, unwashed and unworn condition, with all original tags still attached. All jewelry must have all tags attached and/or storage bags included, as received. All footwear must include the original shoe box in the condition received. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Clearance sale items are final sale. Items purchased on sale at a discount of 30% off or more are not eligible for return, exchange or store credit. All clearance items will be clearly marked on individual product pages and again in the shopping cart, for your convenience.
Discounts or items otherwise promoted as final sale, are not eligible for return or exchange, including but not limited to discount codes including the word FINAL.
FREQUENT RETURNS
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to fulfill orders from customers who have an unusually high rate of returns. Customers will be contacted on an individual basis, with the option of receiving merchandise credit only for returns. If this offer is declined, the account will be suspended indefinitely.
You must start your return through our returns portal. Any unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender at your expense.

We are not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs in shipment back to us.
If a shipment is returned to us due to refusal of acceptance or an incorrect address that is unable to be delivered, the original cost of shipping and any shipping costs incurred will be deducted from your refund.
Returns are typically processed within 3 business days of receipt of the return.
